After Fo Guang University launched the oratorio "Avatamsaka Sutra - The Path to Buddhahood of Sudhana" in 2023, the oratorio creation of Fo Guang University has continued to reach new heights. This year's work "Seeing the Lotus in the Aranya" takes a fresh and profound theme as the background, telling the story of the wisdom lotus blooming in the quiet forest, symbolizing that the sound of enlightenment spreads throughout the universe, presenting a solemn Huazang world. The performance of this oratorio, both in terms of music arrangement and stage presentation, carefully depicts the vastness and depth of the Buddha's realm.
The performance was jointly performed by the Taipei Sixteen Chorus and the Yilan Philharmonic Orchestra, and featured wonderful performances by four solo vocalists: Lin Wenjun, Li Rongying, Zhang Kunyuan, and Yang Shengan.
